Salaryman Suzume Toujou is taking a quiet moment in the office, writing down a list of goals he wants to accomplish before his 40th birthday draws near. He doesn't realize that his coworker Keishi Tanaka notices the newest entry on the list—find a lover. To Suzume's surprise, Keishi tells him that he is already aware that Suzume is gay, and offers to take on that role. As the two gradually work through the list together, Suzume begins to question whether Keishi truly means it or if it's merely a lighthearted distraction.
