Doubt

Rabbit Doubt has swept through Tokyo. In this cellphone survival game, players form groups of "rabbits" who must hunt the hidden "wolf" among them. If the rabbits fail to identify the predator, the wolf eliminates one player each turn until the entire group is wiped out. Players often meet in person, which is what Yuu Aikawa does when he encounters Rei Hazama, Haruka Akechi, and Eiji Hoshi. Along with Yuu’s longtime friend, Mitsuki Houyama, the group decides to spend time at a lively karaoke bar. While Yuu steps away to check on an inebriated friend, he is knocked unconscious by a figure wearing a distorted rabbit mask. Upon waking, he finds himself in an abandoned psychiatric hospital, sharing a cell with a mysterious boy. Although they eventually locate the others, their reunion is cut short by a chilling message on a cellphone: "Rabbit Doubt, Start!" In this scenario, six high school students are forced into a life-or-death survival game that tests their integrity and trust. With their lives on the line, they must quickly uncover the identity of the wolf infiltrating their group, or risk being hunted like prey.

Background

Doubt was published in English by Yen Press as 2-in-1 omnibus volumes from April 23, 2013, to July 23, 2013. It was also released in Spanish by Editorial Ivrea in April 2016; and in Brazilian Portuguese by Editora JBC from September 2014 to December 2014.
