Akira is a first-year high school student who is not particularly outstanding—he struggles socially, doesn't excel in any subject, and has a strong passion for manga. His one defining ambition is to follow his late father's footsteps and become a police officer. But his life takes an unexpected turn. While watching a fierce fight between two individuals with extraordinary powers on a train—one of whom looks just like a tall, dark, and handsome classmate—Akira gets abducted by an alien. This incident throws him into the chaotic and complex world of human-alien relations, which proves both confusing and hazardous. Even more startling, Akira discovers a shocking secret about the father he admired.
