A young man from the countryside named Stahn Aileron longs for adventure and secretly sneaks aboard an airship, which is soon attacked by monstrous creatures. While searching for something to defend himself, he finds a magical, sentient weapon called a Swordian named Dymlos, which speaks only to him. This accidental discovery draws Stahn into a bigger mission related to the stolen "Eye of God." Together with other Swordian wielders, he travels across the world to find those responsible for the theft.
