In the MMORPG Illusion, players gain extra rewards and benefits from special events if they form an in-game relationship. After a bad encounter with a rude player named Ji6Star, Lee Yeo-woon—playing as "neutaaaa"—decides to abandon joining the guild Poseidon. But the incident gets Ji6Star into trouble with the guild master, and to make Yeo-woon accept his apology, Ji6Star spends real money to propose to him in the game. Feeling guilty about the money spent, Yeo-woon accepts but refuses to suddenly act friendly toward Ji6Star, who now follows him everywhere. Still, Ji6Star has some charm, and it's hard to completely ignore him or his help with leveling up. Meanwhile, in real life, Yeo-woon moves into a new apartment and meets a skittish neighbor, Yoon Ji-gu, who mistakes him for a stalker. With Ji-gu popping up everywhere and Ji6Star constantly asking to meet in person, Yeo-woon wonders if he'll ever find peace—online or off.
