In a near-future era where humanity has built an orbital elevator and begun exploring the outer planets, a new war erupts when a mysterious alien race called "Obliquus" appears. This marks humanity's first extraterrestrial conflict, as the alien threat targets the entire solar system. To counter the advanced technology of the Obliquus, the Khronos Foundation gathers descendants of legendary figures from around the world—including Japan's Musashi Miyamoto and Ryōma Sakamoto, as well as France's Napoleon and Joan of Arc. These descendants are then equipped with "Gear" battle suits, turning them into specialized warriors known as "Khronos Gear."
