Arisawa Atsushi transfers to Jougaouka High School so he can be close to Shibata Masami, his childhood crush whom he calls Ma-chan. What Atsushi does not realize is that Masami no longer works at the school; instead, his brother Masayoshi has taken over as the nurse. Mistaking Masayoshi for Masami, Atsushi is horrified by what seems like a complete personality change in his former crush. Compounding his misery, his friend Inagaki Kouji is deeply in love with him and constantly tries to kiss him, making life at Jougaoka feel like hell. However, Atsushi eventually starts to think that maybe this new Ma-chan is not so bad after all, and he might actually prefer the way Ma-chan is now. That is, until he learns that Masayoshi is not Masami.
