A year after his arrival in Mihama, Yuuji resolves to seek a more advanced role within CIRS. The story opens with him meeting JB at the head office to go over the application forms he turned in for his promotion review, which incorporate elements from his own background. Back at the dorm, the girls accidentally find a pieced-together version of the shredded document that contains these details. The catch is that key figures from Yuuji's past might still be affecting his present situation.
