Biwa, a novice screenwriter employed at an American TV drama production company, finally earns his big break after three years when he is assigned to a drama production team. However, just before the team's first meeting, a distracted Biwa collides with a stranger who glares at him—that stranger turns out to be Yamato Toyohira, Japan's top actor and the drama's lead. Biwa is supposed to work as his assistant, but Yamato's arrogance is driving him crazy.
