"Would you like to go collect cherry blossom petals?" Hinata accepts a suspicious part-time job introduced by a friend, and is captivated by the client, Shizuku, who shows up at the meeting place. As Hinata struggles to get to know her better, Shizuku confides in him that she has a condition that allows her to stay awake for only one week a year. What is the “answer” that Hinata arrives at after learning Shizuku's secret?
