The debut work of Kurumada Pro at age 21, "Sukeban Arashi," follows the struggles of a teenage girl named Rei Kojinyama. When Shizuka Ayakoji, the pampered only child of a wealthy millionaire, transfers from Tokyo into her class, Rei finds herself clashing with the privileged newcomer. Shizuka is constantly accompanied by her bodyguard Toudo, whose overprotectiveness stems from his own past experiences. Despite their initial friction, the two embark on various adventures and engage in ongoing confrontations. The manga balances humor, action, and hardship. Will Rei and Shizuka eventually become friends, or will their differences lead to greater conflicts?
