Souichi Negishi is an ordinary, shy, and quiet young man. He enjoys gardening, taking walks, and listening to mainstream pop hits on the radio. However, he also leads a double life as Krauzer II, the frontman of Detroit Metal City (DMC)—Japan's most popular underground metal band. Souichi wishes he could quit and instead perform peaceful, loving Swedish pop songs, far from DMC's violent and vulgar lyrics.
