Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai

His late father always told him that a useless man should strive to be useful, so third-year high school student Nariyuki Yuiga devoted himself to becoming a top student despite his poor academic track record. To secure a better future for his impoverished family, his primary goal is earning the special VIP nomination—a prestigious scholarship covering all future university tuition. Though Nariyuki could realistically be a sure bet for the nomination, he is constantly outshone by classmates Rizu Ogata and Fumino Furuhashi in mathematics and literature, respectively. To his delight, Nariyuki gets the nomination, but there's a condition: he must tutor his two star classmates, each of whom is hopelessly mediocre in the other's subject of expertise. Making matters worse, the subjects they are terrible at are exactly the ones they want to pursue for their future careers. With university application deadlines looming, Nariyuki must find an effective way to teach the girls before time runs out.

As a part of the JUMP START initiative, the first three chapters of Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai were published in English as We Never Learn in VIZ Media's digital Weekly Shonen Jump on the same day as the Japanese release. Afterward, the series was added to VIZ Media's Weekly Shonen Jump lineup and it was simulpub through MANGA Plus. The volumes were published by VIZ Media under the Shonen Jump imprint from December 4, 2018, to May 17, 2022. It was also published in Spanish by Editorial Ivrea from July 11, 2019, to December 14, 2023.
