Oosawa Junpei is what people would call a loser—an astronomy nerd with poor grades and no talent for sports. Despite how impossible it seems, he keeps trying to get together with Kido Karin, his longtime crush. Unfortunately for him, Karin has a perfect twin brother who plays in the Junior Japanese soccer league, earns top grades, and is, of course, good-looking. Then, out of nowhere, when Karin asks Junpei to go to the planetarium with her, Junpei gets caught peeping into Karin's room with his telescope while she's changing—by Karin's twin brother. He is then taken up to the roof, where an alchemy circle has been drawn.
