Tsubura moves from a bustling city to her grandmother's countryside home, hoping for a peaceful high school life. On her first day at the new school, after an awkward introduction, a stray baseball crashes through the classroom window. With impressive reflexes, Tsubura catches the ball midair and fires it straight to the catcher below. Her unexpected skill so impresses the boys that they plead with her to join their struggling baseball team, which aims to make the divisional championships.
