邪眼は月輪に飛ぶ

This story depicts ancient mountain gods bringing disaster upon Japan through an owl named Minerva. Anyone who meets its gaze suffers a horrific death, bleeding profusely from the eyes. Uhei, a renowned hunter, once came close to killing the beast, but the American military seized the owl for study before he could finish it. Thirteen years pass, and an American warship crashes into Tokyo Bay, its entire crew dead from the same fatal eye hemorrhaging. Minerva has escaped and is now rampaging through Tokyo, mercilessly slaughtering civilians. The American government, realizing that Uhei—the only person who ever nearly defeated the creature—is their sole hope, enlists the Delta Force and the CIA to help eliminate the owl.
