The world we see, called the Apparent World, has had a hidden counterpart since well before the cyber age. Ancient people named it the Unseen World. Taro, Makoto, and Masayuki are three junior high school boys living in Suiten, a small town in a remote part of Northern Kyushu. Each one suffered a childhood trauma they could never erase. Because of that, or for other reasons, they all learned to slip their souls into the Unseen World. Ghosts that dwell in the Unseen World never appeared in the Apparent World. But the Unseen World was undergoing a harmful change. Now, that change has begun to spread into the Apparent World...
