Hopes' Peak Academy, an elite institution, welcomes its 78th class—fifteen exceptionally talented high school students. Graduating from this prestigious school guarantees a bright future, but earning that diploma is no simple task. The headmaster, a mechanical bear named Monokuma, presents a horrifying reality: the only way to graduate is to murder a fellow student and get away with it. If the culprit is identified by the remaining classmates, only the killer is punished. If the murder goes unsolved, only the killer graduates while everyone else is executed. Among these fifteen students, who will survive the deadly game? This manga adaptation retells the story from the perspective of the other students.
