After his superior is let go in a corruption case, Ji Wonyoung gets unfairly suspended from his job amid the fallout. Looking for a change of scenery, he decides to stay in a remote town while he works to clear his name. While exploring, Wonyoung encounters Yoon Taejun, the chairman's favorite artist who vanished from the public eye two years earlier. Hoping to gain the chairman's approval, Wonyoung approaches Taejun as a friend, concealing his true motive behind lies. Living under a false name, Taejun wishes to leave his past behind, but Wonyoung must uncover the artist's hidden story to get his position back. As Wonyoung slowly breaks through Taejun's guarded heart, he starts losing sight of his original goal and grows anxious about what lies ahead—knowing a connection built on deception is destined to fall apart.
