A star that had fallen from the heavens built a kingdom in the abyss, where it cultivated the rusted souls that had tumbled into the darkness. It strove to create a beautiful land. Hundreds of millions of nights passed. The king of the abyss grew weak. With his last remaining power, he gave birth to two hopes: a red prince born from his right eye, and a blue prince. The future is always just one. Apocripha/0 is told from a devil's perspective in a world called Naraku. Since devils live there, the angels from heaven are their natural enemies. This world was once ruled by a powerful king of Hell under the absolute rule that only the strongest will survive. He spent ages trying to create a peaceful world, but his time was running out; his hopes now rest on the fates of his twin princes, Alex and Platina. The king commanded Alex and Platina to fight each other in the battle for succession. The princes were raised and trained by their own staff officers: Sapphirus watches over Alex, while Jade trains Platina. Despite sharing the same blood, the two are strangers to one another. Alex does not want to fight Platina, but Platina shows no hesitation. Does Platina really want to fight? Will either have the strength to fight the other? Only the strongest will survive—so who will win? Beyond the war of succession, a young boy named Beryl seems to know a great deal about the princes, yet remains a mystery to them. Sapphirus and Jade also appear to be keeping secrets. Both princes have witnessed visions of different events and heard voices in their dreams. What could it all mean?
