ダメな私に恋してください

After losing her job, 29-year-old Michiko Shibata finds herself nearly broke, forced to survive on nothing but cabbages. With no credentials and scant work experience for someone her age, every job interview she attends ends in failure. Yet she still spends lavishly on expensive presents for her much younger boyfriend, hoping he will eventually marry her and provide financial stability. Soon enough, Shibata discovers her feelings are unreciprocated—the boyfriend has been lying to her and exploiting her for money. Hitting rock bottom, she unexpectedly runs into Ayumu Kurosawa, the strict former boss she once disliked. Blaming himself for her unemployment, Kurosawa offers to lend a hand and once again takes Shibata on as his employee.
