Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou

Nothing brings more joy to Harumi Kazuhito than reading. He buries himself in books every day. However, one night while he was absorbed in a good story at a café, a violent robber bursts in and threatens the patrons. Kazuhito isn't the heroic sort, but something drives him to try stopping the robber—only to be killed. When he regains consciousness, he is reborn as a dog, taken in by one of the customers from that night: Natsuno Kirihime. Through some strange link, Kirihime can perceive Kazuhito's canine thoughts. Unfortunately for Kazuhito, Kirihime harbors a sadistic streak and an obsession with scissors.
