Yuki Anno has just entered high school, but things quickly go awry. Feeling anxious and separated from her best friend Jiu, Yuki decides to seek out new companions. Upon entering her classroom, she is intimidated by the crowd, but a boy named Yuki Saeki welcomes her, revealing he is Jiu’s cousin. They begin communicating by passing notes. Later, Yuki approaches Saeki and Jiu to express her interest in becoming the football team’s manager, though she hesitates, wondering if other girls in the class might be more suitable for the role.
