In "Suki ni Narazu ni Irarenai," Shuku Sakae, a high school freshman who has never experienced romantic love but finds it fascinating, begins to have feelings for her quiet and gentle classmate, Aoto Musubu. Aoto had to repeat a grade because of an incident from the previous year. Shuku's hopes are crushed when she learns that Aoto already has a crush on another girl. Determined to put her own emotions aside, Shuku chooses to help Aoto develop that relationship. The second volume also contains a one-shot titled "Dokidoki Gokko, Sakurako no Isu."
