You Mizunashi holds fragmented memories of a jungle and victims of war. As a doctor's son, he wonders if these pieces of his "past" are merely fabrications of a deluded mind. Pushing himself to recall, he pursues his own truth, which distances him from his classmates and makes him an easy victim for school bullies. While being tormented one day, a stranger with a gaping wound on his abdomen appears before You and his harassers. You quickly aids the injured man, and in return discovers that his unexpected patient goes only by the name "R," and that R deals in secrets.
