Miwaku no Tobira contains three separate stories. In "And Then," Asami overhears her classmates talking about intimate matters, something she knows nothing about. She asks her best friend Rika for advice, and Rika suggests reading women’s magazine articles, but instead Asami watches her brother’s adult videos. This accidental exposure leads her into a tangled world of emotions such as love, betrayal, pain, and tenderness, possibly resulting in happiness. "Junior Sweet" focuses on Minori, a high school gravure idol whose naive and childlike demeanor conflicts with her flashy public persona. She is often tormented by Aikawa, whom she regards as her closest friend, yet Minori unknowingly becomes the school’s darling. Her fragility draws unwanted advances from other students, but Aikawa stays unaware of what is happening. In "Mutsumi-chan Rhapsody," Mutsumi values the time she spends with her cousin and neighbor You, who is also her homeroom teacher. Their closeness sparks gossip among classmates about a romantic relationship. You attempts to keep a firm line between them, but eventually acknowledges that he also has emotions. Note that the events of "Junior Sweet" happen at the same time as what Asami observes at the start of "And Then." Asami and Rika are recurring characters in Fuuga’s works, showing up in nearly every entry.
