Chikatetsu no Inu

地下鉄の犬

In "The Subway Dog," Shinoda struggles with the sudden loss of his wife when, one evening, the smell of coffee draws him into a peculiar small shop. There, he encounters Asukura, the shop owner, who talks about the worth and appeal of objects that are imperfect. At first reluctant, Shinoda returns not only for the coffee but also for the discussions.
