あらすじ

劇場版 美少女戦士セーラームーンEternalの物語の続き

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie Part 1 において、Dead Moon Circus は Juban に狙いを定め、伝説の Silver Crystal を手に入れることで女王 Nehellenia を解放しようと企む。Circus の「Lemures」を通じて人々の夢を悪夢へと変え、エネルギーを収集して地球を闇に包み込み、荒廃した大地へと変えようとする。この脅威に対抗するため、Usagi Tsukino とその仲間たちは再び Inner Sailor Guardians としての役割を担うことになる。 皆既日食の後、Mamoru Chiba は重篤な病に倒れる。Usagi と Chibiusa は、世界を破壊から救う鍵となる Golden Crystal を発動しようと必死に試みる、ペガサスの Helios と出会う。しかし、日食の後、Sailor Guardians は変身できず、Circus の Lemures に次々と飲み込まれていく。彼らはすべてを闇が飲み込む前に、再び力を取り戻すことができるのだろうか？

Dead Moon Circus continues to threaten Usagi Tsukino and the Sailor Guardians. As Earth sinks deeper into darkness and nightmares multiply, the Outer Sailor Guardians become alarmed when they see young Hotaru Tomoe rapidly aging after a total solar eclipse. Believing their prince and princess are in danger, the four Outer Guardians reignite their powers and unite to support their comrades. The eclipse worsens Usagi and Mamoru Chiba's conditions, draining their strength and leaving the Guardians unsure of their next step without their leader. Discouraged by this, Hotaru and Chibiusa decide to face the Amazoness Quartet alone, as the quartet has been the main source of recent upheaval. With Queen Nehellenia's imminent release, the Sailor Guardians must act quickly to stop her plans.

制作背景

COVID-19パンデミックのため、美少女戦士セーラームーンEternal Movie 2の公開は2021年2月11日に延期された。その後、2021年6月3日にNetflixでプレミア上映された。また、2021年6月30日に日本国内でBlu-rayおよびDVDが発売された。
