Kodama Kenji was born December 13, 1949 in Hokkaido, Japan. He is an anime director, and storyboard artist and member of the JAniCA. His wife is animator Kamimura Sachiko. He joined Tokyo Movie in 1970, became later independent and was also once staff at Sunrise. He is best known for directing the anime Case Closed and working with the anime Lupin III. (Source: AniDB)
