Donta cums from Rakugo. The symptoms first appeared when I was 2 or 3 years old. It seems that his lines in Rakugo really stuck with his ears at that time, and ever since then, he has felt pleasure from making people laugh through Rakugo. Rakugo is so important to Donta that he cannot afford to abolish it. However, when his pupil, Funakatsu, was entered into the Japanese Newcomer Performing Arts Competition, the younger generation's view of rakugo was pathetic.
