With the development of modern technology, people on Earth no longer worshiped the gods of weather. Because of this, Yushi the Rain God’s power started to wane. He decides to venture to Earth under the name “Shi Yu." Shi Yu was soon scouted by an unscrupulous talent manager and joins his nearly-bankrupt entertainment company as a new trainee. Shi Yu is then sent to participate in the talent show “I am an Idol”. With absolutely zero common sense and desperate to gain followers, he causes all sorts of chaos on the show. But he somehow manages to become popular enough to debut in the boy-group SWEN alongside three other members. Eventually, Shi Yu discovers that his group mates, Yang Dongjun, and Zhong Yun were also Gods who came to the mortal world to find work and restore faith... *Note: The entry covers Seasons 1 & 2.
