Cha Ranhee, the renowned pâtissier in her late thirties, one day wakes up as Luciella, a young lady of a duke’s family and the female lead of a novel she once read. Ranhee initially tries to make sense of the surreal phenomenon but soon gives in to her fate. Upon meeting the duke and duchess, she feels a long-buried yearning for a family sweep over her and resolves to take on her new identity as Duke Constance’s beloved daughter Ella. Unfortunately, her hope to live a carefree life starts to crumble as soon as she discovers her fiancé, the crown prince Cladis, is having an affair.
