It is a world where humans and monsters coexist and in this particular village, there is a custom of offering the monsters a young girl as sacrifice. The girl chosen this time is Ayumi and she was to be married to Tenran, the cool-headed demon king whose heart has been shut tightly close. Strangely enough, not only did Tenran not try to eat her, he even tried to help her escape to a human area. After realising that deep down, Tenran is actually more gentle than anyone else, Ayumi gradually becomes more attracted to him...
