Fuku no Kami

福の神

A would-be comic artist and his friend are in their apartment when they discover that the story artist submitted into the newest issue of an SF magazine didn't make it in. The landlady comes to warn him to pay his rent, or he would be evicted the next day. Both the artist and his friend gather up their belongings and skip out of the apartment. They roam around on streets and start speculating that they are in an SF story. <br><br> <I><b>Note:</b> This one shot was published in the May 1966 edition of Garo then republished in the Tsurita Kuniko special issue of Garo in December 1970.</i>
