After finishing university, Yoshioka joins his dream company, CBS. There, he's assigned the last news section of the night which only runs for 11 minutes at 11:59 PM, called "Last News". One day, the producer, Hino, chooses as the program's topic a new piece of photographic evidence that could prove the innocence of a politician embroiled in a 200-million-yen bribery scandal.
