Suzume Igarashi (14) is a junior high school student and the youngest daughter of the family. Suzume has three older brothers—Ryo (19), Take (17), and Tora (16)—and this has influenced her way of being a girl. After entering high school, girls in the class began to set aside and her childhood friend, Jiro, does not want to tarnish his reputation. Everything begins to change and Suzume is beginning to feel very alone, until she learns that there are rumors that Jiro is going out with Shiratori, a girl who knows her brother Ryo.
