In a certain village, every 12 years, a child is born that produces flower seeds. Twelve-year-old Maki has a crush on Minoru, a travelling merchant. However, Maki is not allowed to leave the village because he is a "Flower Child". When Minoru tells Maki they won't see each other for a while because his route has changed, Maki begs him "Take me with you!", but...
