In a world secretly governed by the powerful Mani, beings born with a sacred jewel, the Maniju, the existence of these creatures is largely unknown to humans. Mixed-bloods (half-Mani, half-human) are brutally discriminated against. Radel, a seemingly ordinary human, became something "special" after an accident 50 years ago (in his past life or youth?). Sien rescues Radel from a deadly attack by someone named Beron. To uncover the truth behind the 50-year-old accident, which holds the key to the mystery, Sien and Radel enter a cohabitation agreement. Though their relationship is born out of mutual need, subtle, intense emotions quickly begin to sprout. "It's just... touching you feels good." Sien experiences great pleasure when he touches Radel, and Radel, in turn, finds himself helplessly drawn to Sien.
