TRYあんぐる

"Try! Try! Try!" is a brief manga series created by Kiyohiko Azuma around the time he was working on "Azumanga Daioh", circa. 1999-2001. It is a protoype version of his later series "Yotsuba&!". Pages of Try! Try! Try! were originally published on his personal website, "A-ZONE", and the website of the studio of Hideki Satomi, "TRIATHLON". He would later go on to create "YOTUBA SUTAZIO" with Satomi, which currently handles the production of Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba&!. In July 2001, Pioneer released a book entitled Azumanga Two (あずまんが 2 あずまきよひこ作品集), featuring a comic by Azuma Kiyohiko. Along with the book came bundled two small, one-episode comics (Wallaby and Try! Try! Try!), and a bonus CD. Try! Try! Try! encompasses three comics. The first and longest – "Summer Vacation 1/40" – is about Yotsuba playing with a variety of characters over summer vacation. Also included are two web manga originally distributed on CD-ROMs: the first of these – "Ena-chan's Mishap"– features Ena finding a hamster, and the second – "Fractional Episode" is about Yotsuba painting the walls outside peoples' houses in a 4-koma style.
