Occupation: Witch Affiliation: Mantinel Witches' Association Monegold, also known as the Aureate Witch, is a high-ranking witch of the Mantinel Witches Association. Monegold is a woman of average height with a pale complexion. She has long, pale hair, typically covering her left eye, and well-defined eyelashes. She wears a large bulbous hat with a wide brim dripping with an unknown substance, and is typically seen sitting at a desk in a void-like space with mirrors floating around her. When she stands normally, the dripping substance from her hat collects in a pool at her feet. Monegold is a careful and cautious person, focusing on the security of the citizens during the battle against Uroro. She is also a pragmatic thinker, knowing that reinforcements were necessary to acquire Uroro and that the witches had to be limited in who could meet Ichi to avoid crowding. She appears to have experience dealing with less professional colleagues, as demonstrated when she avoided arguing with Desscaras. However, there is still a limit to what she is willing to endure; unsurprisingly, crashing into the Mantinel Witches Association headquarters was enough to make her angry at Desscaras. Monegold appears to have some level of strategic knowledge, having been in charge of the raid against Uroro. She is the head of the Mantinel Witches Association. She has the ability to give orders to other witches, and can block them from being able to perform certain actions; when she banned witches from meeting Ichi without permission, her order was considered important enough to functionally empty headquarters so witches wouldn't run into him.
