Jane Sonata is the representative Superhuman of Scotland. She made her first appearance in the series on a television broadcast that the main characters, Lim Kang and Shidou Juri, were watching while eating pizza. Although she is an acquaintance of Saint Pearl, she differs from Pearl in her approach; while Pearl is a public figure, Jane has spent years guarding the United Kingdom in the shadows, keeping her identity a secret. Jane Sonata began to act openly and in earnest following the tragic Opera House Incident. The catalyst for her emergence was the death of Galen Weed, Saint Pearl’s comrade, who was killed by a powerful Inhuman. This loss forced Jane out of seclusion to take a more proactive role in the global conflict. Jane Sonata is widely regarded as one of the most powerful Superhumans, second only perhaps to Lim Kang. Her combat abilities are so overwhelming—often described as "broken" or "cheat-like"—that she is capable of annihilating groups of high-ranking Inhumans and "Two-Star" threats single-handedly No voice actors have been added to this character.
