Albatross was a member of the Port Mafia's Flags who was responsible for controlling the organization's transportation and vehicles. At some point, he was assigned by the Mafia to an apartment residence in a high-end building, where Chūya Nakahara would later live one floor below him. The codename Albatross is based off Phoebastria albatrus. When written in kanji, his name means "stupid" (阿呆, ahō?) and "bird" (鳥, tori?), though the entire word refers to "albatross" (阿呆鳥, ahōdori?), specifically the short-tailed albatross.
