Dungeon Meshi LA Exhibit Packs Art Share Through Final Week

While Anime Expo’s record crowds have thinned, another Los Angeles draw is still serving seconds. The Ryoko Kui Exhibition & “Delicious in Dungeon” Exhibition at Art Share L.A.—steps from Little Tokyo—runs through July 26, and a fresh WebNewtype field report paints the stop as a genuine international pilgrimage: English, Chinese, Spanish, and German all float through the galleries as fans soak up original-art replicas and dungeon set pieces.

The show splits into two paths. First comes Kui’s creative vault—early short collections like Terrarium in a Drawer, cover-sketch walls that sparked impromptu “which composition wins?” polls, pre-debut doujinshi, and carefully bilingual captions. Then the lights drop for the labyrinth proper: living armor, mandrakes, and a buffet of hyper-detailed monster-dish food samples—roughly double the previous venue’s count—plated beside stills and recipes that leave visitors loudly hungry.

LA’s larger floor plan beats the tighter 2025 New York Chelsea Walls stop, organizers told WebNewtype, with Season 2–timed extras rarely shown even in Japan. The crowd favorite is a life-size Red Dragon photo spot, where strangers trade phones to stage “getting eaten” shots—Falin-style poses very much included—plus frog-suit face-in-hole panels and a Giant Kraken backdrop.

Merch is humming (mushroom-costume character plush keychains lead the pack), mixing U.S. official goods with Japan-exclusive and China-event imports. Bonus-plate tickets are sold out, but general admission is easier post-Expo. With Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 locked for October 2027, this is the last week for West Coast adventurers to clear the dungeon before the Art Share gate closes.
