Kanbe Hiroyuki is an animator and director. He joined Doga Kobo in 1988 before going freelance in 1991. He was also affiliated with the short-lived Studio D-Volt in the late 1990s. He made his directorial debut with Viper's Creed in 2009 followed by his first hit, Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai, in 2010.
