Born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, and known by the nickname King, Kanako Takatsuki began her acting training with the Himawari Theatre Group following her middle school graduation. Before her career in the entertainment industry, she worked at various singing bars and cafés. In 2012, Takatsuki made her debut as a solo musical artist with Victor Entertainment, releasing the single "Bonjou Cinderella no Shiruke no Aru Onegai." Additionally, she is a member of the unit BlooDye, which performed an opening theme song for Vlad Love.
