Benkyou Tamaoki, born Toshihiko Sumi in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, currently resides in Tokyo. He is an original creator known for producing hentai manga that incorporates psychological elements. Tamaoki has stated his intention to craft works that convey the feeling of everyday life. His debut collection, Eroi Hon (Erotic-ish Book), was released in 1995. His manga has appeared in numerous magazines and has also seen publication in the USA. Among his most recognized works is Blood: the Last Vampire.
