Synopsis
Adolpho has devoted his existence to serving God, but his path takes a turn when he meets Michaella, a young woman from a village who is already engaged to be married. After this encounter, Adolpho begins to receive nocturnal visits from a demon that bears an uncanny resemblance to Michaella and pursues physical gratification. Confused by these events, Adolpho decides to discuss with Michaella the emotions he is starting to feel—a choice that may result in severe consequences for the pair of them.
