Terri Hawkes is a Canadian actress who first rose to prominence as a seiyuu, best known for voicing Sailor Moon in the DiC Entertainment dub following Tracey Moore's departure. Hawkes stepped away from the series after finishing the localization of Sailor Moon R due to her pregnancy, which prevented her from continuing as Serena in the ongoing television production, though she did reprise the role for the R, S, and SuperS theatrical films. She was subsequently succeeded by Linda Ballantyne. Early in her career, Hawkes provided the voice for Baby Hugs Bear in The Care Bears Movie and Shreeky, No Heart's niece, in Nelvana's Care Bears television series. Her credits also include the role of Betti in 6teen and Monika Barnes in the initial episodes of Traders. Additionally, she voiced a 3D sphere in Max Maven's The MAXimum Dimension. Beyond performing, Hawkes served as a voice director on several Nelvana productions, including Flying Rhino Junior High, Ned's Newt, and Marvin the Tap-Dancing Horse. Today, she divides her professional focus equally between live action and animated acting.
