Becky is a well-known tarento based in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, currently represented by the entertainment firm Sun Music. She is of mixed heritage, with a Japanese mother and an English father named Simon. In an episode of the program Sekai no Hate made Itte Q!, Becky traveled to England to visit her family, where she was accompanied by her younger sister, Jessica. Starting in late 2009, she launched a music career performing under the stage name Becky♪♯, which features an eighth note and a sharp symbol appended to her name.
