Personal Information

Koji Kikkawa is a Japanese musician whose career launched on February 1, 1984, with the hit single "Monica," a track later remade in Cantonese by Leslie Cheung. That same year, he secured eight music awards. Following a brief hiatus in 1988, he returned as the lead vocalist for the band Complex alongside Tomoyasu Hotei, the former guitarist of Boøwy, releasing the song "Be My Baby." After his tenure with Complex, Kikkawa released a string of successful singles, including "Setsunasa O Korosenai," "Kiss Ni Utarete Nemuritai," and "Boy's Life." He celebrated two decades in the industry by completing a "20th Anniversary Tour" at the Budokan on February 1, 2005. Known for constantly experimenting and reinventing his albums, Kikkawa is firmly rooted in the rock genre. He has established himself as an icon in both fashion and music. He remains renowned for his live performances, where his dynamic showmanship and stamina often make the songs sound superior to their studio recordings. Additionally, he portrayed Sokichi Narumi, also known as Kamen Rider Skull, in the Kamen Rider W franchise and performed the character's theme song, "Nobody's Perfect."
